KIWANIS CLUB NOURISHED UNDERWEIGHT CHILDREN IN ORMOC CITY. Cheers to another noble endeavor of the Kiwanis Club as they continue to help communities by keeping their children nourished.
This club has not stopped doing charity works in different barangays because they believe that “Together we can change the world.” Thus, the KFC Buenas Ormoc started this week its 180-day feeding program to 25 identified underweight children in Brgy. Danhug, Ormoc City. Beneficiaries are provided with Manna Pack Rice for their daily house consumption while club members will have a regular weekend visit and feeding to monitor the development of the children with the help of a registered nutritionist whom the club invited to give an orientation to the parents.
Finally, the club would like to thank the SK Council of Brgy. Danhug headed by Chairman Seth Pilapil, Kagawad Cortes (Health), and Ms. Codog, as the Barangay Health Worker. (By Josie Sersena / EV Mail June 3-9, 2024 issue)
