367 BENEFICIARIES FROM ORMOC CITY RECEIVE THEIR TUPAD ALLOWANCE. The Ormoc City Public Employment Service Office (PESO) facilitated on Friday afternoon, August 16, 2024 the Department of Labor and Employment’s (DOLE) Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) pay-out at the Barangay Can-adieng covered court. A total of 367 beneficiaries received six thousand seventy-five pesos (PHP6,075.00) each during the event.

In addition to the TUPAD payout, cheques were also issued for the following three (3) livelihood programs: (1) Empowering Hands: A livelihood Program for TESDA Graduates and Skilled Workers at PHP1,837,150.00; (2) Veggie Soup: Empowering Communities Through Instant Noodle Soup Production at PHP937,950,000.00; and (3) Earthly Delights: Root Crop Ice Cream Innovations at PHP1,000,000.00.

Attendees at the pay-out included City Councilors Lalaine Marcos, Peter Rodriguez, Burt Pades, and Edmund Kierulf, DOLE Labor Relations, Police, and International Affairs Atty.
