ON OCTOBER 11, 2024, ORMOC CITY MAYOR LUCY TORRES GOMEZ led the DOLE TUPAD Payout to a total of 40 beneficiaries from the City College of Ormoc (CCO), who received PHP4,050.00 each. The payout took place at the Ormoc City Hall lobby.

Accordingly, the cash assistance is aimed at helping the said students who are facing financial challenges while enrolled at the CCO. The said event was also graced by City Councilor Caren Torres Rama, City Councilor Peter Rodriguez, City Councilor Burt Pades, City Councilor Edmund Kierulf, City Councilor Lucero, and PESO-Ormoc Manager Josephine Hermosilla.
