THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT OF ORMOC, led by City Mayor Lucy Torres Gomez, thanked and gave cash incentives to this city’s Palarong Pambansa athletes, who gave honor and recognition to the city. The said incentives were given for the home-grown athletes for their exemplary performance in their respective sports event, which took place at the Multipurpose Hall of the new Ormoc City Hall on December 10, 2024. Gold medalists received PHP50,000.00 each, PHP30,000.00 each for silver medalists, and PHP20,000.00 each for bronze medalists.

Accordingly, LGU-Ormoc promotes excellence in sports by looking after the welfare of its athletes and coaches competing for the city, which led to numerous victories on the local, regional, national, and international level.
