RURAL IMPROVEMENT CLUB (RIC) NOW HAS A NEW HOME/CENTER. On Tuesday, January 28, 2025, the Rural Improvement Club (RIC) in Barangay Camp Downes marked a significant milestone with the turnover ceremony of their newly established RIC center, along with essential livelihood supplies and materials, aimed at supporting food production activities for its members. The said establishment shall be known as the RIC-CDHBWA Center.

On the one hand, the materials that were turned over included a working table, stove, extruder machine, band sealer, molding tray, electric food mixer, partition, and various cooking accessories—all essential tools to boost food processing and production efforts.

During the ceremony, local leaders stressed the value of providing community organizations with the tools they need to improve sustainable livelihood initiatives during the ceremony. They are confident that the new RIC center would be a center for its members to develop their skills, enhance their business, and generate revenue. For their part, RIC members extended their appreciation for the assistance, claiming that the new machinery and facility will boost their output and enable them to grow.

The ceremony was graced by OIC-CAD Tomas Serafica, Punong Barangay Jason Gestoso, RIC Members, and LGU representatives. (By James Gadiano / EV Mail Jan. 27-Feb, 02, 2025 issue)
