ORMOC CITY – A 49-year-old woman, identified as alias “Delia,” was arrested on Monday morning in F. Ablen Street, Barangay Cogon, Ormoc City, in connection with a crime of estafa under Paragraph 2(7) of Article 315 of the Revised Penal Code (RPC).

The operation was conducted by a composite team of the OCMFC led by PCPT Jefferson Q. Barrios, Deputy Force Commander under the supervision of PLTCOL Joel R. Camacho. The team was supported by personnel from the Ormoc City Police Station 1, led by PCPT Flora Mae L. Molina, with overall supervision from PCOL Reydante E. Ariza, CD, OCPO.

The accused, a resident of Purok Rose, Barangay Punta, Ormoc City, was informed of the reason for her arrest and her constitutional rights under the Miranda Doctrine in a language she understood. After the arrest, alias “Delia” was transported to the police station for documentation and proper disposition. She will be turned over to the court of origin to face the charges against her.
