ORMOC CITY – Nadakpan sa kapolisan ang usa ka drayber og trisikol pinasubay sa operasyon nga gipahigayon batok kaniya sa taga Ormoc City Police Office, nga ubos na karon sa liderato ni P/Lt. Col. Marvin C. Pedere.
Target sa buy-bust operation ang usa ka High Value Individual (HVI) sa Barangay Tambulilid niadtong Abril 21, 2025. Giila ang suspek nga si alyas “Don-don,” 44 anyos ug nagpuyo sa nahisgutang barangay. Ang pagkasikop kaniya maoy resulta sa hiniusang pwersa ug kolaborasyon sa Ormoc City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) kauban ang Ormoc City Police Station 4 (OCPS-4) og Ormoc City Intelligence Unit.
Nakompiska sa autoridad gikan sa posisyon sa suspek ang duha (2) ka heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet nga dunay sulod nga white crystalline o ang gidudahang shabu nga maoy “subject of sale” ug laing duha (2) pa ka paketi nga nakuha sa iyang posisyon o “subject of possession,” usa (1) ka Tic-Tac container, one (1) card holder, ug ang usa (1) ka five hundred peso bill (PHP500.00) nga bogus money, ug usa (1) ka genuine five hundred peso bill (PHP500.00) nga buy-bust money, ingon man usab ang kwarta sa lain-laing denominasyon nga one hundred twenty pesos (PHP120.00).
Ang mga nakompiskang ebedinsya partikular ang drugas gidala sa Regional Forensic Unit 8, Camp Sec. Ruperto Kangleon, Campetic, Palo, Leyte. Samtang ang suspek nagpabilin pa karon sulod sa custodial facility sa OCPS-4. Mag-atubang kini ug kaso kontra RA No. 9165, nga pagposisyon ug pamaligya sa illegal nga drugas.
