ORMOC CITY – This city’s police have already identified the man who was found with gunshot wounds in Purok 4, Barangay Nasunogan, Ormoc City at around 6:00 in the morning on August 29, 2024.
The said victim has for an alias, the name, Ramon. He is said to be 26 years old, single, and a resident of Hagnayan, Barangay Margen, Ormoc City.
Meanwhile, the two individuals who were accordingly responsible for the said shooting incident are still being sought by the personnel of Police Station 4. Based on the police investigation, and according to the victim’s father, at around 4:30 in the morning, when he was pasturing his carabao, two men approached him and asked where the victim’s house was. The father revealed that two men pointed guns at him during the questioning.
Because of the father’s fear, he quickly brought the said individuals to his house and woke up his son, who was asleep at the time. After waking up, the victim was quickly taken on a motorcycle. At 6:00 in the morning, the residents of the area found the victim’s dead body with gunshot wounds.
According to the police investigation, the victim was shot on the chest and head by a weapon of unknown caliber, which caused his immediate death.
