Meanwhile, City Mayor Lucy Torres Gomez applauded the success of the police in implementing the strict internal drug clean-up program of the Ormoc LGU. According to the mayor, this is one of the biggest successes of the LGU’s internal drug clean-up program, to ensure that the LGU itself is safe from illegal drugs.
The Mayor also hopes that through this successful drug buy-bust operation, it will be seen as how serious the LGU is in the war against illegal drugs. The mayor also warned that no one, no matter where, will stop the war against drugs in the city of Ormoc. By Gwen Maurillo / EV Mail September 16-22, 2024 issue
