ORMOC CITY – Senator Pia Cayetano was warmly welcomed and thanked by this city’s local government unit for her numerous contributions to the city during a scheduled visit on April 5, 2025.
Ormoc City Mayor Lucy Torres-Gomez and Leyte 4th District Representative Richard I. Gomez expressed gratitude to Sen. Cayetano and her brother Sen. Allan Peter Cayetano for extending help to the Ormocanons and to other localities of the 4th District of Leyte. “Bulahan ta nga gibisita sa dugay na nga nag-sige og hatag og tabang even before wala pa ma-mayor si Cong. Richard,” said Mayor Lucy.
Aside from numerous programs and initiatives, Sen. Pia’s priceless contributions to the city include the building for the City College of Ormoc (CCO) and the development of a Paddle Court.
On the other hand, the Senator mentioned her priorities, which include education, health, sports, and livelihood, among others. She also expressed that she is happy about being a part of Ormoc’s growth and stressed the importance of helping one another.
