TACLOBAN CITY – President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. (PBBM) led the distribution of various services in Samar Province through the “Trabaho at Serbisyong Pangkalusugan sa Bagong Pilipinas” in Sta. Rita, Samar, Friday (March 14).
Thousands of beneficiaries received medical assistance, food assistance, employment, and livelihood assistance. A total of 1,944 individuals were given job opportunities in a job fair for graduates of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps).
Various government agencies also assisted them in their pre-employment requirements to fast-track the process. Cash assistance was also given to residents under the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program.
President Marcos personally spoke to the beneficiaries before heading to the Alyansa para sa Bagong Pilipinas event in Tacloban City, where he endorsed senatorial candidates. (By Marie Tonette Marticio / EV Mail March 10-16, 2025 issue)
