TACLOBAN CITY – Over PHP1.4 million worth of suspected shabu was seized in a buy-bust operation, Monday (February 24), in Brgy. Poblacion, Kananga, Leyte.
They also nabbed alias “Basilyo,” 41, a resident of Brgy. Aguiting of said town. He is a high value individual in illegal drugs in Eastern Visayas.
Authorities seized 207 grams with estimated street value of PHP1,407,600.00 from his possession. He will be charged for violations (possession and sale) of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (RA No. 9165). (By Marie Tonette Marticio / EV Mail Feb. 24 – Mar. 2, 2025 issue)
