A FARMER who is a member of the Communist Terrorist Group (CTG) and Region 8’s most wanted person was arrested by personnel of the Police Regional Office 8 (PRO-8) and the Philippine Army (PA) in Barangay Opong, Catubig, Northern Samar on April 1, 2025.
Nabbed was alias “Eso,” a 55-year-old farmer from Silvino Lobos, Northern Samar, who is accordingly an ally with the rebel group under the command of alias “Darren” and has been wanted on several charges, and has arrest warrants against him.
Two pending murder arrest warrants without suggested bail served as the basis for the accused’s apprehension.
The 2nd Northern Samar Provincial Mobile Force Company (2nd NSPMFC), in collaboration with the 19th Infantry Battalion (19IB), Philippine Army (PA), and Catubig Municipal Police Station (MPS), carried out an intelligence-driven operation that led to the arrest.
