VILLABA, LEYTE – Mismong ang Leyte Police Provincial Office (LPPO) ubos kang PCol. Dionisio DC Apas, Jr. ang ni-anunsyo sa pagka-aresto sa suspek kinsa matud pa nipusil sa Barangay Kagawad sa Barangay didto sa Cagnocot, Villaba, Leyte, niadtong Nobiembre 25, 2024.
Naigo sa bala ang biktima ug padayong nagpa-alim sa tambalanan ug matud pa naana sa “stable condition.” Naila ang suspek nga si alyas “Abal,” kinsa na-aresto mga 10:05 sa gabie niadtong Nobiembre 26, 2024 sa Barangay Tabunoc, Villaba, Leyte. Ang pagsikop kaniya maoy resulta sa hiniusang grupo sa autoridad nga nagpahigayon ug hot pursuit operation gikan sa Leyte Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), Villaba Municipal Police Station (MPS), 2nd Leyte Provincial Mobile Force Company, RID 8 Tracker Team, RMFB 8, ug RIU 8 personnel. Na recober sa suspek ang usa ka hand grenade, usa ka .45 caliber pistol, magazine nga may sulod nga pito ka round nga bala sa 45 caliber pistol, tolo ka small, heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet nga may white crystalline substance nga gi-suspetsahan nga shabu, ug usa ka black holster sa .45.
Matud ni PCol Apas nga “The dedication and tireless efforts of our officers, combined with invaluable community support, have resulted in the apprehension of the suspect.
