OCPO POLICEMEN TRAIN TO BECOME TOURIST-ORIENTED. The Philippine National Police Regional Office 8-Ormoc City Police Office has started its four-day Tourist-Oriented Police for Community Order and Protection (TOPCOP) Seminar at Ramona Function Room, Pongos Hotel on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. The seminar is designed to equip law enforcement officers and local stakeholders with the skills, knowledge, and strategies to ensure the safety, security, and overall positive experience of tourists in Ormoc City.

Additionally, it highlights the city’s commitment to fostering a safe and welcoming environment for visitors, thereby strengthening tourism as a driver of local economic growth.
