Provincial Board Members in the Philippines are elected officials who compose the legislative branch of a provincial government, called the Sangguniang Panlalawigan. Their number varies depending on a province’s classification, and they are responsible for creating ordinances and resolutions to govern the province. The provincial board is also joined by the provincial governor and vice-governor, who are elected separately, as well as ex-officio members from the league of municipalities and cities.
