TACLOBAN CITY – A total of PHP19,310,136.60 worth of cocaine has been recovered by a fisherman in Hernani, Eastern Samar, on Thursday (August 14).
Laboratory analysis confirmed that 3,643.422 grams of cocaine are contained in six black bricks labeled coca racing. The said contraband was discovered by a 52-year-old fisherman from Brgy. Carmen around noon while he was fishing. He then turned over the cocaine to the Hernani Municipal Police Station.
Meanwhile, a 17-year-old fisherman also turned over a brick of suspected cocaine similar to the six others earlier discovered, Friday ( August 16).
