ORMOC CITY – The Ormoc City Police Office (OCPO) launched the Organized Preventive Law Enforcement Against Narcotics with Leadership, Unity, and Community Yield (OPLAN LUCY) Ver. 2.0 Serbisyo Caravan, which took place at the Barangay Dolores Covered Court, this city, on August 29, 2025.
Partner agencies and stakeholders participated in the activity, providing a range of free services to the residents, including legal consultation, blood pressure check-ups, medical health advice, animal vaccination and deworming, seedling distribution, livelihood support, reasonably priced goods, free haircuts, police clearance assistance, and serving of binignit.
During the activity, OCPO Officer-in-Charge Police Lieutenant Colonel (PLtCol) Joel R. Camacho emphasized the Serbisyo Caravan aims to bring essential government programs closer to the people while strengthening the partnership between the police and the community. He added that the PNP and its partners are still working to advance peace, order, and development in Ormoc City through programs like OPLAN LUCY.
The caravan capped off with a renewed pledge to uphold the PNP’s campaign for a safe and secure community under the theme, “Sa Bagong Pilipinas, Ang Gusto ng Pulis, Ligtas Ka!”
The activity was participated in by representatives from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), City Agriculture Department (CAD), City Veterinary Office, City Health Department (CAD), Agakon ug Giyahan Atong Kaigsuonan (AGAK) Drug Rehabilitation and Wellness Facility, KADIWA ng Pangulo, and other support groups.
