ORMOC CITY – The Ormoc Ultimate and Ormoc Supreme Lions Clubs fed 100 schoolchildren of Barangay Sumangga, as well as distributed school supplies to the delight of the said beneficiaries.

The two civic organizations, accordingly, thought it better to serve the children now that they have to be physically present in the schools on a face-to-face program, after two years of studying at home.

The children, the clubs further shared, became even more excited to go to school when they received their new school supplies and in unison thanked the Ormoc Supreme and Ormoc Ultimate Lions Clubs.

In addition, there was also a ‘Reading Action Program’ conducted by Lion Eleth Thea E. Aparis and a Children’s Rights Awareness conducted by Pat. Mary Rose P. Cinco, Assistant WCPD PNCO.  Finally, the said feeding activity was hosted by the Supreme birthday celebrators for the month, together with their supportive spouses, and chaired by Lion Dennis O. Guillemer and Lion Araceli C. Viquiera, while it was co-chaired by Lion Ma. Cristina E Padecio. By Josie Sersena (EV Mail September 19-25, 2022 issue)
